The 5-minute Chocolate Cake
These are the ingredients you will need:
4 tablespoon flour
4 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoon cocoa powder
4 tablespoon low-fat milk
1 egg, lightly whisked
3 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon natural unsweetened peanut butter (optional)
4 tablespoon mini
chocolate chipsThis is what you should do to make this easy cake:
I know the ingredients sound really daunting but really, it is basically pretty simple and easy to make. The best part about this 5 minute chocolate cake recipe is that you don’t need a lot of utensils. Just get a large ceramic mug and a spoon.
First, you pour in the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and cocoa powder into the mug. Mix it all together and then add in the whisked egg. Mix it thoroughly and gradually pour in the milk. Stir and pour in the oil. By now, the whole mixture will be pretty sticky so add in the peanut butter and finally, the chocolate chips.
Remember to stir the mixture very well so that the ingredients are well combined and you won’t get clumps of flour or anything like that. After this, you just pop the mug into the microwave and zap it on high for a maximum of three minutes and it is done!
You can serve this cake with vanilla ice cream or with a chocolate ganache topping or even with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. However, don’t refrigerate this cake as it tends to become rubberized and hard because it is microwaved and not baked the conventional way. Best to eat it immediately!
